Fluffy Ain’t For Me Spotlight: Tanisha.
Hey y’all! Today we are highlighting the weight loss success of Tanisha, who has maintained a loss of 70 pounds! Read below to see how she has accomplished such a major feat!
1.) Congratulations on your weight loss! You look great. What made you realize that you needed to change?
I have struggled with my weight for the last 17 years. I realized I needed to change when I reached me highest weight of 270lbs. I could barely walk a flight of stairs without gasping for air.
2.) In retrospect, what would you say hindered you from losing weight successfully in the past? What is different this time around that has granted you long-term results?
Diet and consistency with working out hindered me in the past. I have eliminated things like soda and juice from my diet. I do have treats but everything is in moderation. For example: I had a cheese burger a few days ago. I took the top of the bun off and cut the bottom bun in half.
3.) What does a typical day in the gym consist of for you? How often do you workout?
I work out about 3-4 times a week. An hour of cardio; walking, lite jogging treadmill, stair master or elliptical. 25 minutes of abs and weight lifting.
4.) Do you have any advice for the woman who feels as if she’s just meant to be fat and has lost all motivation?
My advice is don’t ever give up or give in. Make better decisions about food and if you cannot join a gym take a walk for 30 – 45min a day.
