Hello! As the first week of our challenge comes to a close, I want you to take a moment and be proud of yourself. You are taking control of something very important: your life. You are bringing yourself one step closer to your fitness goals with every day that you participate. Even if no one else is applauding you, applaud your damn self!
Let’s get into today’s exercise of the day:
Lay flat on your back.
Lock your hands behind your head.
Raise your legs in the air, keeping feet close together.
Raise your right elbow to your left knee, relying on your ab muscles to lift up. Keep other leg straight while doing so. Repeat with left elbow to right knee.
Continue. Try for 3 sets of 20 reps.
BENEFITS OF THIS EXERCISE:
This exercise is not only beneficial to strengthening your core, it also helps tone your thighs. You will definitely feel the burn with this one!
WORKOUT SONG OF THE DAY:
Beyoncé is on my playlist multiple times, I mean… How does one workout without her? Haha! This song is great for finishing tough reps, the countdown in the chorus will keep you moving.
